How to output sound on the same PC that runs Roon client in Bottles?

Hello,
I have a PC using Tuxedo OS and can run the Roon client perfectly fine in Bottles and output to all connected devices. The core is running on a separate NUC with ROCK on it.
What I couldn’t figure out though is how to use the same Tuxedo PC for sound output that is running Bottles. I installed Roon Bridge on that PC but it didn’t do the trick and I can never choose a working sound output from that PC in the Roon client.

A brief search seems to indicate that this is not possible, or has anyone a solution on how to do this? It’s a shame as it would be great to be able to simply have a DAC conected to the PC once it is recognized as a Roon endpoint.

Thanks a lot!

You did install the Linux Roon Bridge download in Tuxedo, not Bottles?

I did, yes.
I assume simply installing Roon Bridge on the Tuxedo OS should make it visible to the Roon core, is that right?

Should just work, if you did also go into Roon’s audio tab to enable that bridge on Tuxedo.

Sorry for the late reply, was not near my machine.
It must be something Tuxedo OS related, I am no Linux expert but doing the same installation routing of Roon Bridge on a separate Ubuntu laptop I have, all is working fine and I can locate and enable Roon Bridge for that machine.
Might be something network related, even though I switched off the firewall on the Tuxedo machine…Will keep trying.
