How to play Tidal MQA through Mac and Meridian Explorer [Answered]

Problem: Masters files in TIDAL streaming have lots of clicks and disturbances. How to set up the system so that I can listen to Masters files at any definition level.
My system: Roon 1.3 (build 262) stable(64 bit), MacBook Pro (2.7 Ghz Intel Core i5), OS 10.12.6), Meridian Explorer

Explorer or Explorer 2? The Explorer v1 does not unfold MQA.

Explorer 1. Is it possible to play Master files without MQA if full quality is not achievable?

The MQA files will play, but not at full resolution. What settings do you have for your Explorer output?

Thank you for your interest in my problem. Here are my settings in Roon for Meridian. Meridian 1 does not have set-ups, only two output connections (headphones, preamp).
Private Zone - no
Volume Controls - Core Audio Mixer
Resynd Delay - 0s
External Volume Control - None
Use Exclusive Mode - No
Max Sample Rate - up to 48kHz (was earlier disabled, even worse problems)
Max bits per sample - 16 (was earlier disabled, even worse problems)
Channel layout - 2.0
Multichannel Mixing Strategy - downmix as needed
Sync Adjutment - 0
Clock Master Priority _ Default

I would use Exclusive mode.
