How to tag a track in an album to not play

I recall in the past being able to select a track on an album to not ever play.

If I remember right it was on the “heart” favorite icon. You could cycle through options and one would be a red circle with a line through it.

This option would not add the track to the queue when selecting to play the album. However, I don’t seem to be able to to do that anymore.

This was changed in August with the update that brought global banning.

Previously, you could only ban albums that were already in the library, leading to the nonsensical situation that you had to add an album to the library just to ban it.

Global banning lets you ban albums (or tracks, artists…) even if they are not in the library. Therefore, the option had to be moved (because the favorite heart still only applies to albums in the library and so it doesn’t exist for non-library albums).
