How would one use an Audioquest Dragonfly DAC in the car with Roon ARC on Android Auto with a Pixel 7 Pro mobile phone as the source?

It seems Android Auto requires a USB hard connection to my Pixel (USB-C) to work in my Acura RDX (never got it to work wirelessly, but NP) and it works fine. But how do I add the Dragonfly DAC into this equation?

The Pixel phone connects via the DragonTail-C cable to the Dragonfly DAC which is limited to a 3.5mm output forcing connection in my car to the Aux port. While this configuration is sonically, to me, damn near the same as the former without the DAC, the fact that via AUX port has no display or interfacing with Android Auto and Roon ARC ruins the entire experience with the DAC.

Is there a way to use the DragonFly DAC with Android Auto?
Thanks!

No.

If you want the ARC display, use the phone directly.

That’s what I surmised. I’ll send the DAC back then.
Thanks Martin!
John

You might want to keep the Dragonfly to use with headphones.

Thanks Jim, but I seldom use headphones. The Dragonfly was probably overkill in the car anyway. The difference with or without the DAC was so minimal to my ears anyway so I sent it back.
