HP Z2 G4 mini is also a great machine to run ROCK/MOCK

It’s now up and running, but i think i prefere the HP EliteDesk 800 G4 and G5 since they have 2x M.2 NVME slots for SSD 1x SATA and one for wifi/bluetooth if you like WIFI (not needed to run ROCK, i disable it in bios), Z2 G4 mini only have 1x NVME SSD 1x M.2 for wifi/blutetooth and 1X SATA, but i like that you can use some XEON cpus and ECC memory in the Z2, if you can get a Z2 G4 mini for a good price it’s a very nice machine, i like the looks of the Z2 G4 mini a bit more then the EliteDesk 800 version

I bought an EliteDesk 705 G5 Mini PC with a Ryzen 5 3350GE for a project a few years back. I’ve never used it for Roon but I’ve been impressed with the little box. It will thermal throttle. That’s always the issue with these little computers. There is just no way to move that much heat if you rail the CPU. But for day-to-day it works great and has served my project well.

With the AMD like yours i can not tell regarding ROCK, but on the intel based elitedesk 800 series and the Z2 g4 mini the fan never go up in RPM, but i have one elitedesk 800 G5 mini (i5 9500t) running windows W11 and it have a fan inside the caddy for the 2,5" SSD that i can hear all the time.
