HQ Player and Musicserver X50

Many browsers try to enforce TLS (https) connections to web servers. And at least loudly complain for non-encrypted pages, but you usually have a way to get past that with some kind of “yeah yeah I know” or “I accept the risk” link/button. For this kind of GUI working on local network it is not necessary to be https and there’s no feasible solution to make it encrypted.

Many thanks for the information. Does anyone have a tip for an Android browser that allows you to make the settings for the HQ Embedded in peace and quiet in the music room? Even if I allow http setting, it says “can’t find the website”. For me, the web interface only works in the Firefox browser on the business laptop - always long paths. Tedious…

Firefox doesn’t work similar way on Android?

Which settings do you want to change?

I can’t find the lever in Android Firefox, or it doesn’t exist - no idea. Does the site work on tablets?

Yes there is:

At least the web interface works on my iOS devices and on my Android 12 phone stock Chrome browser (oneandroid - thus pure Android from Google without manufacturer things):

Thank you very much, Jussi. It works…
