HQPlayer integration

I’d like a more integrated and easy way for HQPlayer to run with Roon. Once installed I have to open HQPlayer anyway even is just config.

i’m sure someone will ask eventually, but what platform/streamer are you using?

(On a mac, the HQP app stays open always.)

Try HQPlayer Embedded and Roon Server running on Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS.

I press power button on the PC and by the time I sit, it is ready to play music using iPad. Both start automatically.

Don’t need to use desktop app or keyboard/monitor/mouse. Configure everything from iPad.

Yes I know, that’s why I mentioned installed Ubuntu. As per the other thread, I described how you can try HQP OS on your Win10 machine, without affecting your Win10 installation.

I’d like to see more complete integration in Roon for HQPlayer 4.x. We’re stuck at 3.x-level integration and much has been added to HQPlayer to make it more capable.
