I acquired a brand new Lumin D2 yesterday

I traded in my Auralic Altair G1 and I wish I had done it sooner.

The sound of the D2 is just a bit warmer, more analog, just the way I like it. The bass is a lot less booming. More defined and rounded. And the soundstage is noticeable wider as well. And I have the (subjective?) impression that it all sounds a lot tighter, more controlled, in the fast passages of the music.

I considered getting the T2 but I didn’t want to spend that amount of money.

Anyway, very happy with my decision.

I have the D2 after adding the Sbooster to it it jumped another level in sound quality😜

Henri do you mind me asking what you are feeding the D2 into?
Directly onto an Amp or DAC then Amp

I am feeding it directly into a Denon AVC-X4700H
