I strongly suspect (I could be wrong) that the average Roon user is more likely to be an iOS user- they’re likely to be more affluent and way older than the average smartphone user.

Europe overall is like that, yeah, but Northern Europe, especially the UK and Ireland, are much closer to 50-50 than Southern Europe.

Hifi also seems to me to be a much more common hobby in Northern Europe than Southern- anecdotal, I know, but I’d regularly meet people with “serious gear” when I lived in the UK. In Italy, it really seems to be a really small niche. I could be way off though.

Hence my suspicion that iOS could be more prevalent among Roon users than Android. It’d be fascinating to see stats.

Interesting perspective, especially about audiophile community, but there are a lot of Android user’s on these forum’s.
That could be a higher number of people in technology on the forum’s as I have noticed that almost all my friends in technology use Android.
