You’ll hear it for the first time next week. This makes no sense.
It’s just a thing. I still get excited to check out new music on Fridays. It’s brand new on Friday, it’s fresh. I want to know what’s going on first and don’t read about it on Sunday.
It reminds me of my teenage years. I used to DJ, play in a club, always checking out the latest. I still love doing so.

About the subject from this thread, I use Tidal from Roon and Spotify in the car.
If I am walking on the street I may use Tidal, or nothing. Sometit I enjoy the sounds of the city
For unknown reasons while in the car Tidal stops working and Spotify does not
Now I am giving a try to Arc while in the car travelling

You can listen Tidal from ARC, you cannot download Tidal tracks from ARC.
Sorry, then. In fact I never download music when traveling. I guess that why I simply did not notice this slight difference
