Things have changed since the original post, Apple has added text recognition to photos. We can screen shot Roon, copy the text in Photos… here, on an iPad:

And paste directly into Notes:

Release gImageReader-3.4.0 · manisandro/gImageReader · GitHub I found this free software to be able to copy text from an image and translate later if necessary… We take a screenshot and upload it to the program and it converts it into text. It is for windows.
