I hear you on the Qnap. I have a cheap Synology 2-bay with a single 10TB Hard drive in it and it sounds like it is trying to break nuclear codes. I think I have too many computers backing up on it too often. I do not use the NAS for anything Roon related–my library is on a solid state drive.
