Well my new TS-453Be with 8GB RAM is performing fine for basic stuff. Have a SSD cache but Roon database is currently on one of the HDD’s. Plus the music files are still on my PC so moving those to the NAS should improve things a little bit too. Will also add another internal SSD for the database so another boost there.
For anyone looking for a relative cheap NAS for Roon this one performs fine. Might be a little bit under powered for heavy users of DSP/upsampling but probably for the average Roon user it might be a good starting point.

I have only 4gb of ram At the moment
should upgrade to 8 of i want to run more apps simultaneously,. But roon only works perfectly.
Even with head room and volume limiting is turned on
