are there any plans to provide IFTTT support for Roon?
It would be great to tell IFTTT to play music via roon or play a favorite playlist.
Any plans? Or is it already working but I am not aware of?

I haven’t seen an official announcement but I think that some of the devs are fans of Alexa, aka Amazon Echo, which utilizes IFTTT, soooo maybe?
Have to confess to being moderately impressed when visiting my son last week who’d just got an Echo (a recent arrival in the U.K.)
Admittedly, when asking for the weather it said fine and sunny, despite me looking out of the window at the pouring rain outside as I was asking it.
But with music it was pretty spot on with my limited tests.
A quick “Alexa, play Start Wearing Purple” had a quick confirmation back from her and then Gogol Bordello playing within no time.
I tried a few different ways of asking for different music but couldn’t fault It - well apart from the one thing that most of us here are interested in, the sound quality!
It wouldn’t replace my tablet surfing Roon experience, but I could see it being a great addition.
Agreed, we’ve been using a couple Echo Dots around the house and I would love to be able to control Roon. I already have it controlling the pre-amp and whole house audio via Alexa>Crestron.
Even basic transports would be a start (play, pause, next track)
Just received a Newsletter from IFTTT where they announced their new partner platform:
Maybe that is something the roon staff can take a look at?
I would like to control roon’s volume, mute, next track with the echo dot. Anyone looking into this or can this request be put on the wish list
I would like to have the echo’s be endpoints so Roon can play directly to them as well.
I’d really like this (through IFTTT) for the Google Home - I’ve programmed mine with some limited commands through the association with Logitech Harmony (applets) - I can control power - but next track and volume (possibly mute too) would be great as well !
