I’m currently putting Roon through it’s paces - having it described as lossless Pandora is what piqued my interest.
However, I’m not quite “digging” the radio aspect. Radio seems to be taking the last track, and finding similar tracks - but at a fairly superficial level. For example, I played the song “Better” by the Screaming Jets - a great early 90’s rock song by an Australian band - but the tracks that came after it are just “rock songs by Australian bands” - missing the character of the track, and resulting me giving up on the “skipping/thumbs up/down roulette”
Pandora - with it’s music genome was much more clever in it’s matching. It also had a capability to seed your radio station with other tracks to help the algorithm. Does Roon have anything similar?
