Total expectation here that isn’t met. Weird.
If it’s just a few albums or tracks, get yourself a copy of Audacity, adjust the volume of the albums/tracks in Audacity by either increasing the volume or normalizing the tracks. Then save the files as new. You can then archive your old files to preserve the original levels if you wish. It’s all free and only requires your time.
