I’m new to RoPieee so this might be some number of problems I’ve created.
So I’m up on RoPieee, I see the webpage, I’ve gotten wifi connected and working. I have a Innomaker HiFi DAC Pro but I don’t see the audio on the network. I initially chose from the audio tab the Innomaker Hifi DAC assuming it would for the pro too. I saw another topic saying the Roon Bridge won’t work if the DAC isn’t working so I think that is where I’m stopped. I tried the Hifiberry Dac+ and Hifiberry Dac2 Pro too with no luck.
@spockfish sorry to bother you but what hardware profile would I use for this? I donated at least so hopefully that makes this less annoying. Appreciate you.
Hello @Will_Butler . I suggest that you use the “Send Feedback” feature so the logs are accessible to Harry in case he has time to take a look. The DAC should be powered on and attached before you do this.
This feedback showed you’ve configured a Hifiberry DAC Plus, but the device is not available/recognized.
First thing that comes to mind (as you’ve tried 3 HATs): is the connection good?
Secondly, the Innomaker DAC Pro requires the ‘Allo Kantana’ driver. So I would suggest you go back to the Innomaker, configure it as the ‘Allo Kantana’ HAT, and try again.
hi, just wanted to share that I have had no issues using this DAC with RoPieee. I selected “Innomaker HiFi DAC Pro” in the Audio section, and it work like a charm
Btw, am running it on an RPI 3B+ power by a separate 5V USB charger (jumper removed).
One more thing: Using an amplifier (not headphones). I am using the balanced outputs with standard 3.5minijack->RCA cables, one for each channel. Only the Left/white RCA connectors are connected to the amp (Right/red are hanging loose).
