Installing roon on a QNAP to stream to a Meridian MS600

I have a Meridian ms600 and a qnap nas and would like to find info on how I can switch from Sooloos on my meridian to roon?

Roon can play directly to the MS600 over the network, just like Sooloos (Sooloos was the precursor of Roon).

You need a machine to run the Roon Core. Maybe the Qnap can do it, some do. Otherwise get a NUC and use the Qnap for storage,

Thanks! Yes I can run a roon app on my qnap. Do I need to install this app first. Any other settings I need to change?

Just install Roon, it will find the MS600 on the network.
