Installing Ropieee mega slow [SOLVED]

My Ropieee on RP4 stopt working. Cause was a bad SD Card.
So I took a new SD Card (64 Gb because I have no 8 Gb cards anymore) and used Etcher to write the RP4 image of Ropieee to the SD Card. But now my RP4/Ropieee is installing for days! Download speed 4Kb, while I have a Gigabit internet connection.
What could be wrong? Is the server Ropieee is getting his extra software not working properly? Are too many people installing Ropieee at the same time?
Any suggestions to speed up my installation? (I already did a fresh rewrite of the Ropieee image to my SD Card. That didn’t solved it.)

I don’t get the relation with ‘download speed 4Kb’…
At what stage of the installation?

Don’t know. Green led is still blinking fast.
Is there a way I can see at what stage the installation is?

N.B. The 4Kb is the speed my router showed for this connection

ok, because there is nothing to download except the Roon Bridge (which is very small).

Does it have proper internet connection? Because that’s required during the installation.

It should have! But to be sure I will change ftp cable and after that use other internet port. Will keep you posted!

You can also attach a monitor to the HDMI port to see what’s happening…

Tested ftp cable and internet connection. Both OK (and fast). Will attach monitor to RP4 to see what’s going on…

Maybe this is issue Your WiFi connection?

I use a fixed internet connection

Solved!

I did found a 8 Gb SD Card, etched ropieee image on it. Put it in the RP4 and it worked as it should be.

So I think the RP4 could not handle my (mis formatted?) 64 Gb SD card.

@spockfish: thanks for your suggestions!
