Intel NUC alternative for ROCK

With Intel dropping support of the NUC, I wanted to get a different piece of hardware for my ROCK. As ASUS is taking over support for old NUC devices, I decided to try one of their newer mini PCs for my build. Everything went very smoothly following the same directions as for installing on a NUC. I went with a barebones unit so I wasn’t wasting money on a Windows license and added my own RAM and SSD. Attached is a list of my build. Eventually I’ll replace the portable hard drive with a NAS as my media collection grows.

Roon Server running on a Ubuntu 22.04 LXC on Proxmox, 6 cores, 6GB of Ram, running butter smooth and have 6 other containers (including Plex) running other things… all on a HP Mini Elite 800 G9

Good to know. I’m currently running rock in a NUC7 i3 - when the time comes to upgrade, these little ASUS barebones will do nicely. Just curious: Does ROCK recognize both the Ethernet and Wifi interface on these?
