Can anyone recommend some interesting young, up and coming singer songwriters? I like Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Lucinda Williams, Suzanne Vega, Regina Spektor (in small doses), Leonard Cohen (especially if someone else is singing his songs), lots of others. But most of these have been performing (or performed) for decades. Who am I missing among younger artists?

I feel like Rip Van Winkle. Experienced the 60s-70s, went into a career with a very long commute and little time to explore music, then retired. Now I have time to explore a whole new world of artists I missed.
Most of the ones in the responses so far, I’ve never heard of. But the ones I have (Gillian Welch, Neko Case), I like. So, sounds promising.
