in their new Classic DAC II the swiss company Nagra has decided to implement an internal upsampling of every incoming signal to DSD 256. The underlying software (modulator, filter) is not specified. Does it make sense to feed this kind of DAC with data previously processed in HQP or will everything be re-changed by internal Nagra software?
I would assume incoming DSD256 is left intact though. So likely running it at native DSD256 rate from HQPlayer is still beneficial.
