Apple is now offering iOS 26 as an update to older iPhones too. Is it compatible with Roon ARC?

All Apple smartphones from 2019’s iPhone 11 or newer can install iOS 26. All tablets from the 2018 iPad Pro or 2019 iPad Air (3rd gen), iPad mini (5th gen) or iPad (8th gen) and newer can install iPadOS 26. All Apple Watches from the 2020’s Series 6 or newer can install watchOS 26.
Darn it, my 5th gen iPad was 2017

Edit: In this post, I had mentioned issues with dark mode and notification bar visibility, but this has fixed itself now. Seems that something was odd with my iOS dark/light mode and this interfered.

Is this why Arc doesn’t work for you 
No. I noticed the issue on Monday during the day, on the previous iOS.
(And then I started the 26 update in the evening, while I was investigating the issue, and it worked briefly again after the required reboot of the phone after the update)

Just looked, it’s nearly 12gb update for the 16 Pro Max 
I have an iPad 13 Pro M4 and honestly this is the best the scrolling has been so far…no stuttering, very smooth…I even think the colors on the albums pop a bit more (am I imagining that!?)…this is on the release version of iOS 26…no updates recently from Roon so clearly they were ready…havent tried Arc yet just the main Roon remote app…and I have a big library of over 22K albums! So far so good!
I’ve been running iOS 26 through all the beta with no issues.
I’ve been using Roon ARC without issues in my car yesterday. (iPhone 14 through CarPlay to a 70 Euro display). Updated all my Apple gear to their respective OS’s 2026 version. I quite like the new glassy looks

Might be going off topic here, but other than a UI change, and because I’m too lazy to look (for now), what new features are there for iPhones? I’m yet to experience something new.

Roon ARC works perfectly (mybe even better than ever) on my iPhone 12 Pro.

Please update the Roon app for macOS Tahoe. Apple wants to encourage developers to update their app icons for the new Liquid Glass style. Tahoe forces every icon into the same squircle shape. App icons that use a different squircle or don’t fit in a rounded square shape at all, get placed inside a gray box. It makes the actual icon 20% smaller and 80% harder to recognize.
