Just started using roon and loving it but still trying to figure it all out.
I’ve download the iPad app and works great as a remote for my main system but can I use it to output to a small bluetooth speaker I have in the kitchen? I can’t get it to work like spotify does.
The iPad app can’t currently play music like a “zone” , only control the music in other zones. That is a limitation in the type of apps which can be sold or installed via the iTunes App Store. The “Roon Speaker” release is required, which is in development currently.

However, if you have a spare Android tablet around it can do exactly what you want.
