iPad instability B1310 iOS / B1321 Server

I’m experiencing some instability with iOS Roon Remote on iPad (Mini) B1310. This is the latest version on TestFlight for me.

Server is Linux RoonServer on B1321.

After the iPad has been left unused for some hours Roon Remote fails to reconnect to the Server and requires a reboot of the iPad to fix.

Anyone else seeing this ?

Do you have a build we don’t? or running mixed EA/production? The latest was B1324 in production (where the update was halted after some time), but in EA it seems to have been B1321 here (in the new unified packaging)

I am experiencing a similar problem with my iPhone (iOS 17.0.3).

Roon Remote (EA 1310) freezes after being unused for sometime. I can only solve this by restarting Roon Remote. Roon Server (EA 1321) is running on a Synology (DSM 7.2 U3) via package installation.

Ah, no. Turns out that was just me failing to remember 1321 properly. I’ve edited the title and post to hide my shame. Let’s never mention this again …

This is what I’m seeing:

And somehow you posted this in the Early Access - Software Release Notes as well

FWIW I’ve noticed something similar on Android for at least the last 2 EA releases - it worked fine previously. Closing and restarting the Roon app reconnects.

Will there be an iOS update too soon btw?

We’ll see when they post release notes for a new build
