Is it possible to stream multichannel 5.1 file to Marantz AV 8805

Hi:
I set up my roon core on iMac. I encounter channels down mix issue while streaming Auro-3D 5.1 flac file to Marantz AVR 8805.
Any suggestiongs?

Are you streaming via the network or using HDMI?

When I streamed through network: flac 5.1 roon (iMac)–> downmix to 2 channels → Marantz AV8805

When I streamed also through network: flac 5.1 roon (iMac) → 6 channels → roon on Macbook, boot on Win 7 → USB DAC creative Soundblaster X4 → Toslink → Marantz AV8805

When I streamed also through network: flac 5.1 roon (iMac) → 2 channels → roon on Macbook, boot on Mac OS → USB DAC creative Soundblaster X4 → Toslink → Marantz AV8805

Try via hdmi. Also you neeed to check the midi audio settings in the Mac

It doesn’t seem possible to send audio out via HDMI to AVR on Macbook, running Mac OS. While doing so, I can’t see available options for audio out on midi settings.
