Perhaps it’s the sheer volume of “popular music” content generated these days that’s resulted with them struggling to keep up. Countless albums months after release with no track, composer, credits or meaningful genre metadata, and sometimes not even a track listing. Other instances where discographies are clearly incomplete. I find discogs to be far more comprehensive and accurate these days.
