Is there a way to add artwork to multiple albums?

I have a thing against the artwork on classical music releases (I think there’s actually a thread on this). I’d like to have a generic cover for all my classical albums, but I can’t find a way to do this. I can add artwork to albums individually, but when I select more than one album and go to Edit Album the artwork section is not there.

Any help is appreciated, and apologies if I’ve put this question in the wrong part of the forum or it’s been answered elsewhere : )

I don’t think this is possible. You could use a batch tag editor to change the artwork, and then set Roon’s metadata preferences for album artwork to prefer file.

Before attempting this, make sure you back up your media and Roon database, and try with a small selection first.

That’s a shame. This is something you can do in iTunes so it’s disappointing you can’t do it in Roon.
