Is there a way to create a random playlist?

What I’m looking for is a simple way to randomly play 100 (or whatever number) of tracks from my own library without putting any thought into it.

I don’t necessarily want Roon radio that plays similar tracks…I want random.

I have another media server, Asset, that will do this…100 songs are randomly added to the queue and away we go. I might get Robert Cray followed by Sonny Rollins, followed by White Zombie - just happened in fact. The down side, of course, is that I don’t get the extra stuff that Roon offers (metadata, similar artists, etc) while using the other media server.

Goto the tracks browser and press the blue shuffle button.

Roon will then shuffle play though the tracks.
When you are done, goto the queue page and cancel shuffling.

Same can be done for playlists.

Much easier than I anticipated!
I had assumed this would add all the tracks to the queue. Thanks!

Select the heart and it will random play your favourite tracks too. I do that a lot.
