Is there a way to mark albums as played?

I just imported a large number of ripped albums. Those not yet played have their album covers (I guess it’s the thumbnails) marked in the upper left corner with “NEW.” Is there a way to get rid of the marking, eg, to mark everything as played?

This is with Roon 1.3 on Win10 Pro x64.

Now way right now but it will go away by itself, in a week I believe.

would love this ability. I use a filter to show ‘never played’ albums, but it’s not accurate, or, maybe I listened to via Tidal on my phone, so would like to mark it as such. Or CDs I’ve imported, etc. I love having a way to filter to only the albums I’ve added that I havent listened to yet…

This can be accomplished using Tags. Create a played Tag and when you’re finished listening just mark the album as played. Then you can filter using the reverse Tag to show unplayed albums. That’s just one simple way to do it. I’m sure there are more creative ways.

Yeah I’ve done things like this in the past. Tedious. Wish it had the same function that an email client does, where you can select a bunch and ‘mark as read’…

Might I suggest using focus on the “Albums” category?

I’m currently listening to CDs I’ve ripped but haven’t played. I went to Albums, clicked on Focus, scrolled to the Played in the Last column and selected All time. When you click out of the Focus selector, click again on the *Played" label to negate it. This will give you a list of albums that haven’t been played at all.

I hope this helps.
