As far as Roon streaming performance is concerned, is there any benefit to changing the DNS settings only on the machine running Roon Core?
My ISP (AT&T Fiber) does not allow altering DNS on their provided gateway so unless I buy a secondary router I’m stuck with their DNS servers.

If you can’t do this, then you can setup machines to use their own DNS or even run a DHCP server elsewhere on your network if you have a machine running 24x7.
ISP DNS is usually slow, and takes an age for changes to propagate. I use Cloudflare, but Google and Quad9 are very good, too.
