It is so buried under credits, all I want to do is have it show up as part of the album display.
At the moment I have to edit the version on every album to include the label, and it is driving me crazy.
This should not be a hard thing to change, and I know others have asked for it before.
There are decent work arounds, like creating smart playlists based on labels, or using tags. Most labels are not as significant imo, but i have set up bookmarks, smart playlists and tagged ECM, ACT and 4AD as three examples.
Out of curiosity, why is the label important when you’re browsing albums?

Roon reads what’s inside parenthesis and square brackets. The curly braces are used for populating ROONALBUMTAG via a script. In this instance, the media format.
In my experience, a label name is often more telling about the sound of an album than the genre tags. 4AD, for example, or Sub Pop, says more than indie rock.

But if we are talking about music discovery (which you point at), then Roon will be quite bad at identifying labels (only usable for library content).
I tend to use Qobuz own app for label-oriented search.
There are feature requests regarding this i think!
You could try my SongKong tagger, this adds the label directly to the metadata and Roon can read this metadata, SongKong can be used on libraries of any size.
In my library I have albums from ~1800 labels.
That many Smart Playlists could cause performance issues with Roon.

My extension is a good compromise for those who’d like to use Roon by labels. I could, with a little time, make a specific labels extension.

I would also love for the label to be more prominently displayed. I think really what Roon needs is the ability for users to make themes where they can choose what is displayed and where.
