I’ve been listening to some good ol’ AC/DC, and when going to the “What You’ve Been Listening To” section it lists the members as listened artists. This happens with some bands not all of them…
I don’t have this behavior for AC/DC, but I had it for Steve Miller Band. The issue was caused by having both the band and the individual linked as primary artist for the album.
You can remove primary artists in the album editor by clicking the artist in the primary artist links section. Doing so changes the “+” into a “-“, and color the artist red as shown below.
Once removed, a reboot of the Roon Server also removed the andditional entry from the listening stats.

Wow. I didn’t realise they went on to have solo careers afterwards. I’ll have to check them out. just kidding. 
they were playing live in my home town only 3 night ago. wicked.
