Issue connecting to Roon/Roon ARC Server app on Mac, works on Windows PC on same network (ref#MITTME)

Roon can only function within a single subnet in your local network. Please disable any secondary networks while we troubleshoot to ensure all your Roon devices can communicate with one another properly.

This is such an incorrect quote. The Roon server is on one VLAN, VLAN (X) and the WIIM Pro is on another, VLAN (Y). WIIM Pro can communicate with both Mac and Windows servers on a different VLANs without an issue within the same environment.

ARC however, is another issue where I have the most problem. I am not quite sure how the Roon started working after many uninstalls and deleting folders. I finally reinstalled and placed back the original Roon folders and Roon is working normally on a Mac.

However, ARC is definitely still not working. I am running on the latest 1388.

My Roon App on my Android which was not working, also works now. So the only remaining issue is the ARC which keeps giving me error 504.

My apologies for lack of clarity on my part - the use of multiple subnets falls outside of the scope of our support. That said, there is a vibrant community of users who can likely continue to offer you tips over in our Tinkering category.

OK, so ARC is not supported. I understand.

This is a great service and a product that only runs on a dumb hub where the server and everything else is plugged in to…

Who in the world puts their AP’s and LAN on the same network???

It looks like on a Mac that does not have IPv6 it’s listening only on IPv6.
