Have checked my AV firewall, and have had to allow access to ‘launch network apps’ and ‘access to network resources’ for both roon.exe and raatserver.exe to get the Core.to laod on the desktop.Is this wise from a security point of view?

We took a closer look at routine diagnostics associated with your account, and it appears you’re not currently using your Windows device as a Core. I assume you’re still encountering issues? If so, did you have a chance to try adding the firewall exceptions? Note that adding Roon.exe and RaatServer.exe as Windows or network security firewall exceptions is not a security risk, as it only allows Windows to permit these Roon-specific processes to interact with your LAN and OS-level processes.
