Hi @Ivan_Nedyalkov,
Thank you for your patience while we’ve diligently worked to reach every request for support with port forwarding.
Please first try the following steps:
- Try to enable UPnP/NATPMP in the web administration interface for the router directly upstream from your RoonServer
- Try to manually open the port in your router’s port forwarding configuration
- Make sure the IP/Port matches the Port listed in Roon → Settings → ARC
- Check for any VPNs or Firewalls that might be interfering
- If you have a second modem/router combination from your internet provider, verify that it is placed in “Bridge” or “Modem” mode.
If you continue to experience difficulties, please tag the support team and include the following information:
- What is the make and model of your router?
- Who is your internet service provider and what is your geographic region?
@connor
The port seems to be opened. At least it’s present in my ISP router’s admin settings. Everything else looks fine.

Hi @Ivan_Nedyalkov,
Thanks for the follow-up.
Did you create a manual rule? Or was UPnP enabled for an auto port forwarding rule?
Try disabling one or the other if they’re both active.
This may be worth a more thorough investigation - do you have any active VPNs?
