I’m a Control4 integrator and we are attempting to establish control of Roon. None of us have done this before, so we are just going off of commissioning guides and we’re missing something.
We have the Roon Nucleus server, and a Roon-enabled Trinnov Altitude 16.
In both the control4 commissioning guide and the Control4 guide from Roonlabs site, it says that we need to go into settings, then extensions, and enable the Control4 driver.
When we go into settings > extensions, there are no extensions and we don’t see a way to enable the Control4 driver. Is there a step that we are missing or do we need to add/configure the extensions to make the Control4 driver selectable?
Haven’t used control 4, but the process of running a roon extension is to run it on the device that wants to connect to roon (somewhere on a Control 4 device) - and then approve it in roon.
So much as you thought - there’s a first step needed.
I’m sorry, I meant the control4 help line. He got us set up pretty quickly. I don’t remember the actions we took in Roon since this was well over a year ago.
I showed my dealer the install guide too but it seems you’ve gone through that.
