I was using Tailscale which was nearly reliable but after the last Roon update ARC is “off the air” again. Tailscale is actually running, all nodes accessible & transfers between them work.
Sadly ARC is contender for the title of the “Most Unreliable Software” I’ve ever used…I give up… 
Update: User error. Arc is now working. I had the Ethernet cable plugged into the 4th port on my ISP modem/router. The Ethernet cable must be plugged into the 5th port on my ISP modem/router (because it’s in bridge mode). Once I realized I had erroneously plugged it into the 4th port instead of the 5th port & corrected it…the Roon Arc connection has worked without fail (thus far).
