Lots of Roon Kool Aid being consumed today! Digital music player that takes 15 steps to play a commercial CD from a CD-ROM drive and won’t play a single file without a full import. A little convoluted.
Yes I understand the primary purpose of Roon. But to say that playing CDs just doesn’t fit the paradigm is the edge case. I was in the future in the mid 90s building media PCs when MP3s came out. Way ahead of all of y’all. But I still feel that Roon is Byzantine when it comes to playing portable media.
