It is not $2500, you are making it $2500 as you are just going all in… you can do monthly and drop it whenever you want and just install it in a computer you have… it is not real dedicated HW is needed, either nucleus or ROCK, only for mega huge libraries dedicated HW is needed, you can give a try and see how your existing HW behaves. It is about your expectations…
