Lenbrook Reinvents MQA: Meet MQA Labs
It looks to be good news for those that appreciate MQA - ROON please let us know your plans for integration.
It won’t affect me but I’m glad for all the folks who like MQA, people are free not to use the service. I think Roon integration needs to be agreed by both parties, but I’ve nothing against people having choices.
There’s a movie about this.
Guaranteed to be BluOs only. They bought the tech for a reason. Radio Paraside MQA
streams are only via Blusound as they struck a deal.
And the use of SCL6 as new Bluetooth codec.
might be BluOs only, but BluOs is available on more than Lenbrook devices, and growing.
btw, RadioParadise in MQA sounds fantastic, much better than the FLAC stream in Roon.
Request for Roon integration please.

I’m sure this “groundbreaking audio technology” is going to do much better at Lenbrook than it did at Tidal. After all, it’s the exact same thing.
One question though: why isn’t there a Q in Airia?
How many threads do we need about this?
We surely don’t, all rolled into one for now, I’m sure there will be more though.
I for one enjoyed MQA on certain tracks. The music sounded different, and it was an improvement. There are still tracks on Tidal that are MQA. The indicator lights on my Cambridge CXN100 light up as they play. I hope they don’t change how MQA operates and that Roon approved equipment can still use it.
I happen to LOVE MQA. I purchase many MQA CDs as well
I am thrilled that it found a new life. I felt that the bashing was unfair…If you dont like it…dont use it

where do you find MQA CDs?
…and if you rip them, does the MQA encoding remain intact?
Great. Love MQA. When will Room have integration, please?
It does. I have used dBpoweramp with HDCD enabled in DSP Effects.
news this morning that HDTracks and MQALabs are jointly launching a new streaming service in Q4. it will not be limited to BluOS devices.
