Joining Meridian 218 & SBT zones

Hi, I am hoping to group my Squeeze Box Touch, Meridian 218 and Raspberry Pi zones to get the house jumping. No problems with the Pi’s but having dramas getting the SBT and 218 to join the party. Any advice appreciated.

You can only group like for like, so you won’t group Squeezebox devices with RAAT devices. Not sure if the 218 is RAAT either so you can not group them all together.

The 218 is a Meridian/Sooloos device. Anyone know of plans to allow those of us with hig-ildy pig-idly endpoints to group them for a party down the track?

Grouping zones of different types

It’s a big project. I think it would be fun to get it all working, but it’s not all that clear-cut whether it will happen. Some technologies could theoretically support this sort of mixing. Others can’t at all because of limitations outside of our control. Others could, but with some contortions involved. The big question on our part is: if we do this, will it be stable? Will it be a good user experience? Will the synchronization quality actually be good? Will we be able to do effective QA on…
