KEF LS50II - Signal Path for MP3 shows MQA

Signal Path shows MQA but source is MP3.
Same behaviour, when MQA is disabled in KEF Device Setup.
Tried that with different loudspeakers > works.
KEF issue?

Everything after the second item the LS50 is what they are doing internally and reporting back to roon they are doing.
I’d contact Kef as well as wait for a reply here.

But I have these and have never seen this happen.
Is this a Tidal track?
If so you could tell me what track and I’ll check on mine and report what I see.

Edit: Just remembered I don’t have access to my Roon Core for a while.
I could check with Tidal connect but that might be apples vs oranges.

this is a local file
and same behaviour with all local files, always MQA …

FIXED NOW:

  • i did not get a reply by kef, also same firmware
  • after installation of roon 2.0 (build 1303), the correct signal path (without mqa) is shown
