Kernel panic directly after rock installation [Resolved]

hi there

I just installed rock on my new nuc

roon hardware recommendations were followed:

  • Crucial CT2K4G4SFS8213 (8GB Kit, 4GB x 2, DDR4 2133 MT/s (PC4-17000) SODIMM 260-Pin)

  • Transcend MTS400 M.2 SSD 64GB SATA III, MLC

  • Intel BOXNUC7I7BNH (Intel Core i7-7567U, 2,5 Zoll HDD/SSD + M.2 SATA/PCIe SSD)

  • Samsung MZ-75E1T0B/EU 850 EVO internal SSD 1TB (6,4 cm (2,5 Zoll), SATA III)

Bios update was done:
BIOS Update [BNKBL357.86A]
Version: 0061 (Latest) Date: 12/21/2017

Each step as described on your web page was followed

I did the whole installation twice including flashing of two different usb drives, each time the kernel panic error appeared and the boot process stops

any help very much appreciated, thanks in advance

Can you show a bit more about the error? A photo of your screen will help determine what’s going on.

Thanks for your rapid response. I just solved the problem by deleting the former partitions through a partial windows installation. After that the installation could be completed flawlessly and at the moment my music library is searched. Thanks again!
