I have so many different digital versions of Led Zeppelin stuff. Originals, MQA, Hi-Resolution 24-bit, this remaster year, that remaster year . . .
so I say, well met sir.
My Tubular Bells obsession means amongst all the other versions; Iāve got the SACD but have never owned an SACD player.
This was a listening highlight
I have this box at home. Amongst others.
I have it on Sacd as well as CD and vinyl, so only 3 versions.luckily I have got SACD player as well as it being ripped at dsd 64
I went to the premier of III at Horse Guards, I have never been so wet in my life.
Yeah I have that one on DVD as well. Double box together with Tubular Bells 2 in Edinburgh.
Oooh a Laserdisc existed?
So the CD box I have is the 30th Anniversary. We have a 40th Anniversary. And now also a 50th Anniversary Tubular Bells.
I donāt really like the 50th to be honest.
I think Iād given up on him by then
This is super deceptive though. I show I only have 17. Each a different album.
Then I pick an album. say IV.
Now I have 5 local versions of that album.
I think too much.
Iāve queued it up because Iāve never heard any version of the tubular bells album.
Of the original there are several nowā¦ The 1973 one, the 2003, the 1975 Orchestral. And now the 50th Anniversary as well.
That does not show up in roon for me at all. Not in search or discography.
I have it on CD. Iāve ripped it to FLAC myself.
