I still have so much vinyl in the basement, I’ve been looking for someone who can repair my old Mitsubishi LT20 for years

Those old Japanese linear tracking tables can be very problematic.
When they are good they are great but when bad…a nightmare.
Fortunately my old Technics linear tracker just needed a good clean and lube, a new drive belt , a new cartridge and careful setup.

I got all parts direct from Japan via eBay.

my friend google says it’s just the lamps (tone arm controls) but every engineer i ask is afraid of such an old device (40 years?!)

Same here, nowhere I could find local would work on it so it was diy or junk it.

On a more serious note: The rest of t’nite and tomorrow I’m listening to this guy, who sadly, already died. I visited Texas (Houston) in the nineties/zeroes quite often (family related). Really liked the “country-vibe” over there and Doug struck me like lightning as the true texan country singer. His songs remind me of things and places: the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo - the blue bonded Highways - the true country song… I’ve got all the albums he released.
