Having a Kindle would help that. 
I have the sacd of that. Sounds great! I think I got it used for 2 usd at a library sell off. That and several of the rolling stones sacds.
Oh Iāve got kindles (since gen 1) and a Sony reader before that.
I buy a lot of non Amazon books and transfer them using send to kindle and it doesnāt track them very well. Especially if you forget to read until the very last page.
Then thereās digital library books and their own reader, physical library books, my books, my sisterās booksā¦
As my brother in law once said āI realised that I was going to be an hour or more late but Ged wouldnāt mind as he would have a bookā.

I should keep a list of crap books I couldnāt get into, I could call it the PJ Harvey or Tom Waits or Freeform Jazz list, ROFL.

I have taken to doing this as well. It has the added benefit of causing other patrons of the local shop moving away from me as I invariably must carry on a conversation with the phone while I interact with it. Not with one of those silly voice assistants, mind you, just the phone. You know, like a crazy person.
