It seems that SPAM is still a thing! I saw an advert for it on the tv just yesterday. The actor in the advert lives just down the road from me.
The advert’s protagonist, Nigel, is a ‘no-nonsense northerner’ who takes the viewer through a ‘food journey’, noting that locally sourced, high-class Deli ingredients are just not realistic for ‘everyday folk’.

That’s a blast from the past. I just dug out the vinyl to give it a spin tomorrow. I doubt it’s been played in 30+ years. I also found another of his albums, Living In Oz. Inside the sleeve was a 12inch 45rpm of Jessie’s Girl, with ‘The Rick Springfield Interview’ on the B side. No idea if it came with the album or I bought it separately at some point!

Did you ever listen to the full 8 hour version of Sleep? I did, but not at night! Yet to try the experiment of starting it as I climb into bed.
