Sounds like me, you know that album by whatsaname. My gig buddy is an old Uni mate but as he lives North London don’t see him really enough. He has is own band that I have never seen for years infact it’s a completely different lineup to when I last did. I bought his album off Bandcamp to make up for it mind even though I don’t listen to it it’s not my taste. He curates nights at pubs for smaller acts like himself in East London too. Don’t know where he gets the time as he works full time as an architect and has a family.
Sorry going full audiophile now just to enjoy the music quality (though I do really like this album)
