Agree. I think all four are excellent :+1:

I need to explore the rest of their catalogue. I had this one in my Qobuz favourites for years.

Ripping vinyl??? Really?

I only have the first album on vinyl, the others on CD. Toying with the idea of getting them all on vinyl…if I can find some decent prices. The comeback album ‘Peace or Love’ from a few years ago is great :sunglasses:

Well another gig booked for early next year. One of my most seen acts. Always great live and put on a show. Who could not love the giant bear. Anniversary tour of Do You Like Rock Music my 2nd fave album after their debut.

Lanterns on the Lake tomorrow at same venue. This will be my 4th gig this year alone. It’s nicer to share these events with someone but needs must.

England Is a Garden was a pleasant lockdown release.

I was 19 then (1970) and also helped launch my enjoyment of recorded music…His very first album called Mona Bone Jakon is also excellent…

Today, of course, he goes by Yusuf.

They run their own festival up in Cumbria these days near Whitehaven called Krankenhaus, used to curate gigs and music nights in Brighton in their early days. Done lots of soundtracks for indie doc as well. They take nature into what they do as well, all part of their festival organising walks up the mountains as well as the music.

Listening to the remix album of their first album its a bit different but I like it. Some of my favourite bands involved such as Alfie and Ladytron.

Great lyrics

from 1975, loved it much….as a teen……

In case any of you want to see 80 yr old Mick Jagger play with Ronnie & Keith, above is what Floor tickets are going for in the 49’ers Stadium in California. WOW…I guess the group can still command some high prices…

The single was speeded up if I remember correctly (Norman Cook)? I was a little surprised when I heard the version on the album - much slower. I have a soft spot for Cornershop.
Fave song - “What did the hippy have in his bag?” Love the kids on that song :grinning:
